Vernal Falls Vernal Fall - Yosemite National Park The Mist Trail: Yosemite, California Found in the Merced River, Vernal Fall is 317 foot high. The fall has a local name of Yan-o-pah which means Little Cloud. 2. Emerald Bay State Park Lake Tahoe (Eagle Falls Trailhead hike & Emerald Bay)~ with kids Lake Tahoe, California. The state park is one of the National Natural Landmark. 3. Cathedral Peak. Yosemite National Park. Cathedral Peak is a part of Cathedral range of mountains. 4. Mirror Lake Also located in Yosemite National Park. Mirror Lake has become a “seasonal lake” and is the only remnant of a larger glacier lake. 5. Mt Shasta.
